Criminal Record Clearance
Veri Source is a registered user of Criminal Data with the South African Police Services.
In order to obtain a basic Criminal Clearance Check, we require from the client the candidate’s full names and identity number. A record check is then carried out using the identity number or Passport number as the source and this is checked against the full names given. The SA Police Services strongly recommend a finger print check as the most accurate base for checking criminal records, as their system has always and still does use fingerprinting, as its main data source. A regular Criminal Records check should have results back to the client within forty eight hours.
A full finger print check can be arranged through Veri Source. A SAPS indemnity would need to be completed by the candidate in this event. Finger print checks can take up to twenty one working days to get results.
